WESTMINSTER, HUNTINGTON BEACH SCHOOL TEACHERS GET NICE SURPRISE WITH $50 REWARDS CARDS

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA, October 9, 2015 – Teachers at Westmont and Lake View Elementary Schools were greeted with a nice surprise at their staff meeting this week—$50 rewards cards to Walmart or Sam’s Club. All teachers received the cards as part of the company’s Teacher Rewards program, which helps schools with much-needed classroom supplies during the back-to-school season.

“Our teachers are thrilled to be selected for the rewards program,” said Broderson, who is principal of both elementary schools while the Lake View campus is closed this year for reconstruction following asbestos abatement. “We thought it would be more exciting to surprise our teachers, so we invited Sam’s Club to come out and personally recognize them at the staff meeting.”

Lake View is located in Huntington Beach and Westmont, just a few miles away, is situated in the city of Westminster. Both schools are part of the Ocean View School District. Students and teachers from both schools are currently located at the Westmont campus at 8251 Heil Avenue in Westminster.
