By Anna Greenwald, 2012 Chairman of Business and Leadership Awards
The Huntington Beach Chamber of Commerce will host its Annual Business and Leadership Awards Luncheon on December 6, 2012 at SeaCliff Country Club. These awards are coveted throughout Huntington Beach and displayed proudly by all past recipients. We are currently seeking nominations for these prestigious awards.
This year’s awards consist of the nationally recognized Athena Award, the Legacy Award, Outstanding Citizen Award, Environmental/ Sustainability Award, Business in Excellence Award and Business person of the year award. Additionally, an Educational partnership award has been added to the nomination ballot, in order to celebrate and recognize the local business partnerships developed. These partnerships provide the ability to move our education system and students to the next level, during times of budget hardship.
This Chamber has been a driving force in the City of Huntington Beach for over 100 years, promoting success in the business community by fostering a supportive and diverse business environment. It stands true to its mission to provide programs, connectivity and advocacy that promote economic vitality. Additionally, it celebrates its members, the business environment that they work hard to create as well as their accomplishments.
