Are you interested in the performing arts? Are you an incoming or current student of the Huntington Beach Union High School District? Ever heard of the Huntington Beach Academy for the Performing Arts? We know you have a lot on your plate, so we'll try to sum it up for you.
The Huntington Beach Academy for the Performing Arts is a comprehensive program that expects a high level of effort, commitment, teamwork and dedication from its students. All of this combined with highly trained instructors, state-of-the-art equipment and facilities, supportive staff and a community of friends provides a rigorous yet satisfying environment for learning and achieving. APA consists of nine different disciplines: Acting, Costume Design, Dance, Dramatic Production, MMET-Media, MMET-Popular Music, Musical Theatre, Orchestra, and Technical Theatre. The application deadline is January 29, 2015. Auditions will be held February 21st, 27th and 28th and are split up by department. Be sure to read through all of the information on the ?auditions? page thoroughly. Several of the APA departments are also hosting audition workshops.
