Mike landed a job as a consumer writer and advocate right out of college. He obtained his Bachelors degree in Speech Communication in 1979 at California State Fullerton. He attracted local and national media attention by challenging false and misleading supermarket advertising. He taught consumers how to save 65% off their groceries without using coupons. He’s been an insurance agent since 1992. He set up an independent practice in Huntington Beach since 1999. That is the year he began to focus his career in Huntington Beach…especially on health insurance for individuals and small business owners.
 
By adopting a shop play and stay attitude for Huntington Beach, Mike has embraced our community with volunteer service.  He has served on 19 boards of directors. He has chaired or volunteered on over 400 events and auctioneered and emceed for at least 11 non-profits. Mike brings his consumer advocate skills to health care and will share with the small business owners the impact of Obama Care on Small Business and ways to navigate the best outcomes for your business.
