Stater Bros. to Open New Supermarket in Riverside

San Bernardino, California (October 17, 2016) – Stater Bros. has announced that the Ralphs Supermarket located at 315 East Alessandro Boulevard in Riverside will soon become a “Blue Ribbon” Stater Bros. Supermarket.

Stater Bros. expects to take possession of the Alessandro Boulevard location in early winter. The existing store location covers nearly 46,000 sq. ft., and will undergo an extensive remodel, reopening as a state-of-the-art “Blue Ribbon” Stater Bros. Supermarket in spring 2017.

“Stater Bros. looks forward to an expanded presence in Riverside,” stated Pete Van Helden, Stater Bros. President and CEO. “The new Riverside location will offer residents living in the vicinities of Mission Grove, Canyon Crest, East Hills and Woodcrest a full-service shopping experience that features Stater Bros. friendly service and everyday low prices,” Van Helden continued.
The new energy efficient and environmentally friendly “Blue Ribbon” supermarket will also provide local customers with a wide variety of products and services. Customers will be served by Certified Meat Cutters behind the full-service Meat Department counter, meet seafood professionals in the full-service Seafood Department, find a selection of over 800 items in the Produce Department including many organic items, and enjoy the convenience and selection of the full-service Bakery, full-service Deli and full-service Floral Departments.
