Artists’ Council of the HB Art Center at the Park
Members of the Artists’ Council of the Huntington Beach Art Center will be presenting an informal, afternoon show of self-portraits on Sunday, August 30, 4 – 6 pm. This local group of about 135 artists wants to introduce themselves and their artwork to the broader community of the city who are attending the “Sunday Concert in the Park” music series hosted by the Huntington Beach Concert Band. The art show starts an hour before the concert begins, when there are many picnickers already there. The artists will be located near the park entrance path to the bandstand area in Huntington Beach Central Park behind the library. Paintings, photography and other media will be shown by attending artists.
