SUMMARY:New CHERP Program Core Volunteer Meeting
DESCRIPTION:CHERP is a community home energy retrofit program that is new to Huntington Beach and sponsored by the Sustainable Surf City Committee of the HB Chamber\, The Energy Network\, and The City of Huntington Beach\, to assist residents in making their homes more energy efficient\, lower their true cost of home ownership and increase their property value by as much as 9% or more. In addition to helping local residents and the local real estate economy\, CHERP will help create local jobs and more disposable income for families to be used in our local economy.\n\n \n\nWe are looking to form a CHERP HB core group of volunteers. The core group will help promote the CHERP HB program locally. We will hold two education seminars for members interested:\n\n \n\nWednesday\, February 5 & Thursday\, February 13  \n\n6 - 7:30 PM at the Chamber Office \n\n \n\nThe seminars will help members to understand why CHERP HB is so important for our community\, how it works and how to articulate to others\, and the many benefits it has to offer.
