Event Description:
The Secret Garden tells the story of a girl, Mary Lennox, who's raised in a privileged household. She turns extra sour after her parents pass away and she is left with no one. However, after learning of a beautiful garden, she softens her hard exterior and miracles happen. The Secret Garden reimagines the enchanting classic of children's literature in brilliant musical style by composers Lucy Simon and Marsha Norman. This musical revels in theatrical imagination and achieves the irresistible appeal that moves audiences to standing ovations!
This fundraiser show will premiere the weekend of January 9th-11th and repeat the following weekend, January 16th-18th.
The preshow will begin at 6:30, complete with entertainment and appetizers. Curtain call will be 7:30. On Sundays, the preshow will begin at 1:00 with a 2:00 curtain call.
Tickets are $25 general seating or $40 VIP reserved seating (comes with complimentary dessert and drink, only 20 available per show) and can be purchased through the APA Office at 714.536.2514x4025 with credit card or in office with cash or check. The show will take place in the APA Studio Theater (black box) at Huntington Beach High School. There will be a fifteen minute intermission with the opportunity to purchase refreshments.
